Coil tongs

Attachment for transporting coils and bundles of sheet metal loaded on pallets. Ideal for occasional changes of goods to be transported. Designed for fast and safe slinging without time-consuming changing of the load handling attachment. The sheet metal package adapter is placed in a trestle. The coil tongs retract into the adapter with the claws on both sides. By picking up the adapter, the load safety device of the coil tongs switches. The load safety device prevents the tong arms from opening under load - in this case "under the load of the adapter". Even in the event of accidental incorrect operation, the tong arms will not open. Safe transport of the sheet packs is guaranteed.

Scrap container tong with suspension adapter for coil tongs. Enables the load handling attachment to be picked up without manual intervention for transporting scrap containers.

Robust horizontal slewing unit with stable slewing ring design. Ideal for 2-point crane suspension and for eccentric loads.

User-friendly design: The sliding bolt is guided on rollers and secured by an end stop to prevent it from falling out.

Hinged support prongs. Ideal for confined spaces and for protecting coils during entry into the coil eye.

Locking the coil tongs in the uppermost crane lifting position. Ensures safe crane and trolley travel without swaying.

Stop roll for protection of the coil front face.

Light barriers enable fast and safe positioning of the gripper arms in front of the coil eye. Particularly effective in combination with folding clamps. In this case, the operator only unfolds the claws when the light barriers indicate via signal lamps that the support claws are in the centre of the coil eye. This avoids unnecessary contact with the coil windings.

Weld-on hooks on both sides for flexible transport of additional loads without removing the coil tongs from the crane hook.

Integrated weighing device directly in the steel structure. Saves height compared to separate scales and offers precise weight measurement.

Protector made of synthetic material (changeable) to protect the outer coil windings.

Replaceable plastic support layers protect the inner coil windings. Ideal for sensitive materials.
